The axial turbines are designed for projects with low and very low heads with a strong flow variation.
VAPTECH offer vertical and horizontal (pit) shaft Kaplan turbines with 3 to 6 runner blades and double regulation. The design covers metal and concrete spiral cases for vertical arrangements and metal and concrete pits for horizontal arrangements.
The runner is manufactured from high quality stainless steel castings with CNC machining. The runner is designed, controlled and accepted according to the IEC standards.
