Das Projekt Chaira hat eine Gesamtkapazit\u00e4t von 864 Megawatt und eine Pumpleistung von 788 Megawatt. Das Projekt Chaira besteht aus vier reversiblen Francis-Pumpturbinen, die jeweils 216 Megawatt im Erzeugungsbetrieb und 197 Megawatt im Pumpbetrieb produzieren. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hielt Chaira den Rekord als gr\u00f6\u00dftes Pumpspeicherkraftwerk in S\u00fcdosteuropa.
