VAPTECH Has Successfully Commissioned Hydropower Plant Candir-I in Turkey

Candir-I hydro power plant has an installed capacity of 1,8 MW. VAPTECH delivered an electromechanical system based on two identical Francis turbines with horizontal shaft arrangement that operate under a net head of 122,6 m and a flow of 0,85 m3/s per unit. The turbines rated output is 0,896 MW at a rotation speed of 1500 rpm.

VAPTECH delivered also main inlet butterfly valves, bypass systems, generators, hydraulic unit, plant automation, supervision of installation works and commissioning.
