ES VAPTECH has successfully delivered its latest project in the Balkans, based on a complete electromechanical solution. The Western Balkan region has the largest remaining unexploited hydropower.
HPP Brezovica is operating under a net head of 40 m and a maximum discharge of 3 m3/s. The flow is utilized by two VAPTECH horizontal Francis turbines at a rated speed of 750 rpm. The total installed capacity of the power plant is 2164 kW.
The scope of supply further includes two sets of butterfly valves DN900 PN 16 designed and manufactured by VAPTECH, high pressure units, inlet cones, dismantling joints, synchronous generators with digital excitation system, a PLC based automation system with SCADA, 35 kV middle voltage electrical equipment. VAPTECH provided transportation of the equipment to the site, installation and commissioning.

Insgesamt hat VAPTECH weltweit Anlagen im Wert von mehr als 8.000 MW installiert. Die gesamte mechanische Ausrüstung von VAPTECH wird in der eigenen Produktionsstätte hergestellt und getestet.
