VAPTECH Has Successfully Commissioned Hydropower Plant Debeda in Georgia

In December 2015 Debeda hydropower plant, located in Georgia, was put into operation.

The installed capacity of Debeda HPP is 3170 kW and it has two turbine-generator sets, each with capacity 1585 kW.

For this project VAPTECH delivered 2 Francis turbines with horizontal shaft arrangement and 2 butterfly valves DN1100, PN10. Each of the turbines works in estimated net head 44,6 m, flow 4 m3/s. Within the scope of supply VAPTECH delivered also 2 horizontal synchronous generator, hydraulic pressure unit, automation system and electrical balance of plant as well as supervision of installation works and commissioning.
