VAPTECH Delivered Electromechanical Equipment For HPP Cavnic in Romania

HPP Cavnic was put into operation in February 2014 and operates under a net head of 160 m and a maximum discharge of 1,9 m3/s. The flow is utilized by two identical Pelton turbines VAPHYDRO™ with 6 injectors and rated speed of 750 rpm. The rated turbine output is 1530 kW. The total installed capacity for the power plant is 3060 kW.
