Francis turbines are ideally suited for medium-head applications with moderate flow variability. VAPTECH’s Francis turbines deliver high efficiency, low cavitation, and minimal vibration across a broad specific speed range (ns 80 to ns 300), ensuring reliable and long-term operation in demanding environments.

Each turbine is equipped with a precision-engineered runner, manufactured either by welding or CNC machining from high-grade stainless steel, and designed in full compliance with IEC standards.

All Francis turbines are fully assembled, pressure-tested, and functionally verified in VAPTECH’s factory prior to shipment. This enables streamlined on-site installation, reduced commissioning time, and a high degree of quality assurance from production to operation.
